The purpose of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) is to allow citizens greater control over the processing of their personal data, protecting their fundamental rights, especially the right to privacy.

The principles and rules established by the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) must be observed by all natural and legal persons, both public and private, who process personal data.

According to the LGPD, personal data is information that identifies, or is likely to identify, a natural person, such as name, address, CPF number, date of birth and e-mail address.

As defined by the LGPD, it is data relating to racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, membership of a trade union or religious, philosophical or political organization, data relating to health or sex life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person.

The natural person to whom the personal data collected and processed refers.

Your personal data may be collected for the following purposes:

  • actions related to marketing, commercial operations, sales, donations, sponsorships and communications;
  • operationalization of the company's activities, such as finance, accounting, human resources, among others;
  • health protection, customer service, pharmacovigilance and quality assurance;
  • security of data subjects and fraud prevention (access control, auditing and compliance) and;
  • compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

Files stored on your computer that contain records of your online browsing in order to improve the interactivity of the pages you visit.

Data relating to the data subject that cannot be identified, taking into account the use of reasonable technical means available at the time of processing.

Any operation carried out with personal data, such as collection, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, filing, storage, deletion, evaluation/control.

The natural or legal person responsible for decisions relating to the processing of personal data.

The natural or legal person who carries out the processing of personal data on behalf of the controller.

The body responsible for overseeing, implementing and monitoring compliance with the LGPD.

The rights of data subjects are:

  • Confirmation of the Existence of the Processing;
  • Access to the data;
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in breach of the provisions of the LGPD;
  • Data portability to another service or product provider;
  • Deletion of personal data processed with the consent of the data subject;
  • Information about the possibility of not providing consent and about the consequences of denial;
  • Information on public and private entities with which the controller has shared data;
  • Revocation of consent;
